Hair should be about a quarter to half an inch long (3–12 mm) so the wax can grip properly. If hair is shorter, allow 2–3 weeks growth. We’ll assess length during your consultation and advise if trimming helps.

Some discomfort is normal, but our experienced estheticians minimize pain with proper technique, skin tension, breathing guidance, and herbal numbing pre-treatments. Most clients report quick, manageable sensations and faster comfort on subsequent visits.

Appointments typically take 30–45 minutes depending on hair density and any consultation needs. This includes cleansing, waxing, and application of soothing herbal aftercare so you leave comfortable and cared for.

Shaving between waxing sessions undermines root removal benefits and can encourage coarse regrowth. If necessary, light trimming is acceptable, but avoid shaving to maintain longer-lasting smoothness and reduce ingrown hairs.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy exercise, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use our calming herbal balm, wear loose clothing, and wait 48–72 hours before exfoliating to protect follicles and prevent irritation.

Avoid waxing if you have sunburn, open wounds, active skin infection, or recent chemical peels. Those on certain medications (like isotretinoin) or with severe skin conditions should consult a physician before booking.
